Unshaken Enhanced Ebook (and other editions)

The enhanced ebook edition of UNSHAKEN: Rising from the Ruins of Haiti’s Hotel Montana has just been released. This is my favorite version of the book, since it immerses readers more completely into the story than traditional books usually can.

As readers follow the story of my experience, they can learn more about the Haiti earthquake, see pictures of the people who were a part of my story, experience the songs I sang and verses that helped me hold onto hope. Info graphics show the path of debris that pummeled me in the first moments of the quake and the miracles that kept me alive, and a video of Christy on Good Morning America will help readers put themselves into her shoes when she thought I was lost.

And at the climax of the story—my rescue—readers can view video of rescuers pulling me out of the rubble—the very video that my family and friends saw as the first confirmation that I was alive and rescued—and hear audio of the first moment that Lukeson and I met in the light of day.

After all of the press my story received related to my use of my iPhone to treat my injuries, it is fun to have a cutting edge enhanced ebook that shows off new possibilities for books on iPhones, iPads, and other devices (it currently is only available for use on iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches).

You can find the enhanced ebook on Amazon (follow this link) and on Apple’s iBookstore (link to come).
